Join the Interfaith Volunteer Family!
It's as easy as 1... 2... 3.
1. Fill out the volunteer application
2. Pass a background check
3. Attend a volunteer orientation
Interfaith Caregivers serves vulnerable adults. We ask each volunteer to complete an application. It may be submitted online or printed out and mailed to our office. We require a background check for all volunteers.
Once your application is approved, we will contact you to set up a volunteer orientation in our office. Orientations will provide you with information about Interfaith Caregivers along with ways to make your volunteering experience a success.
What will you do as a volunteer?
You’ll be paired with clients whose needs match your interests and your schedule. Help with things like:

Giving someone a ride to:
- Grocery store
- Doctor or dentist
- Bank
- Taking someone to visit a loved one
- Cancer treatments
- Dialysis
- Hairdresser/Barber
Helping in the office. If you have experience with computers and other office work this may be the opportunity for you!
- Filing
- Data entry
- Answering phones
- Mailings
- Thank you phone calls or letters

Other opportunities ~ Visiting or calling someone ~ Fixing little things in a home (lightbulb, handrail) ~ Light housekeeping ~ Reading to someone ~ Giving a break to someone caring for a loved one ~ Yardwork in spring and fall....and much more
