Our Services

     ICPC connects to seniors 60 years of age and older and adults with disabilities to volunteers and services supporting independence and quality of life in Polk County, Wisconsin.

     Our dedicated volunteers provide a range of non-medical services at no cost, including transportation to appointments, mail assistance, light house cleaning, and yard work.

Give Big this April!

Transportation Services

Rise & Shine Program

Rise & Shine client

     Rise & Shine is a daily check-in call service for seniors and adults with disabilities.

     The program is designed for individuals who live alone or families that worry that something could happen to a loved one and no one would know.

How to Qualify

Clients may qualify under these parameters:โ€‹

  • Live in Polk County, Wisconsin

  • Are 60 years old or older

  • Are an adult with a disability*

  • Can get to and from and in and out of a vehicle on your own

  • Don’t need a volunteer to give you your medicine

  • Don’t need a volunteer to give baths or showers

  • Don’t need to be lifted or movedโ€‹

  • Are caring for a loved one who meets the qualifications listed above.โ€‹

     Our volunteers are not licensed or trained to perform any medical/triage type of duties.

 

     We are unable to accommodate rides for people in wheelchairs at this time. Services are provided at no cost to you by our vetted volunteers. All services depend on the availability of volunteers in your area.

     *If you are disabled and under 60, you will be required to provide us with a copy of your award letter from Social Security. Some exceptions apply.
