Because we serve vulnerable adult populations, we require our volunteers to complete a background check.
3. Drop off Paperwork:
Either email, mail, or drop off your completed volunteer application and background check form.
4. Attend Volunteer Orientation:
Come to a short orientation to learn more about Interfaith Caregivers and ways to help make volunteering a success.
Volunteers are required to: provide a copy of a driver’s license or valid ID, provide a copy of proof of insurance (if you will be driving for us), agree to a criminal background screening, attend a volunteer orientation session, and record and report miles and hours spent volunteering.
Volunteers do not have to: help clients into or out of vehicles, give medication, provide hands-on care, orransport wheelchairs
