Join our "family"
of volunteers who make a difference in their community.
Volunteers come from participating congregations and communities in Polk County to offer friendship and support to someone who lives nearby. Our non-medical services are offered at no charge to seniors and adults living with disabilities in Polk County, WI. Interfaith Caregivers encourages volunteers to put their "Faith into Action" by helping their neighbors. Volunteers share their time and talents with others; we do not promote religion to anyone we serve. Volunteers are matched with someone whose needs match their schedule and interests, and who lives right in their own community. Our volunteers often report receiving much satisfaction from the small amount of time and service they perform. -------------------- There are more requests for our services than volunteers, so we need you! You can volunteer as often or as little as you wish. Times are flexible depending on the volunteer’s schedule (once a week, monthly, as needed, special events...). Snowbirds are welcome. Our program staff supervises our volunteers. We do background screening on all volunteers. Orientation is required. The only special ability to begin volunteering is the desire to help someone else. Contact us at 715.485.9500 to become a volunteer now!
