Interfaith Caregivers is pleased and excited to be working with the following foundations to "Give the Gift of Independence" to our senior and disabled neighbors in Polk County, WI:
  • Hugh J Andersen Foundation - This is a one year grant for general operating expenses. The $5,000 grant helps us to continue operating our program and delivering services at no charge to elderly and adults living with disabilities in Polk County.

  • Amery Community Foundation - This grant for $1,000 is for recruiting more volunteers in Polk County.

  • Otto Bremer Foundation - This is a three year grant  for $41,500 with two purposes:

    • To develop fundraising and market strategic plans

    • To provide operating expenses

Interfaith will be working hard to tell the story of our program and develop more local funding sources to improve our financial stability.  This will allow our program to continue to operate to meet the future needs a growing senior and disabled population in Polk County.  The grant began April 2006.  We are in the third year of this grant.

  • Polk Burnett Operation Round-UP - This $1000 grant is for recruiting volunteers to help their neighbors.  This money comes from generous Polk Burnett customers who "round-up" their monthly bill to the next highest dollar.

We thank these foundations for helping our program achieve our goal of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors"!!!
